Born on 5th January, 1919. Educated at G.S.P.V. School, Vijapur, District Mehsana. Fellowship High School, Ahmedabad, Gujarat College, Ahmedabad; Dharmendra Sinhji College, Rajkot; L.D. Arts College, Ahmedabad, University School of Economics and Sociology, Bombay, Sir Lallubhai A. Shah Law College, Ahmedabad, Government Law College, Bombay. Enrolled as an Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 28th January 1946 Practised on the Civil and Criminal Side in the High Court at Bombay and in the Gujarat High Court. Appointed as Additional Judge of the Gujarat High Court on 23rd April 1969 and confirmed as permanent Judge of the Gujarat High Court on 5.8.1970. Transferred to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 24.6.1976. Retransferred from the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to Gujarat High Court with effect from 13.9.1977. Retired on 5.1.1981.
