Born on 19.2.1930. He was enrolled as an Advocate of the Bombay High Court on 12th October, 1951. He was appointed as a Judge of the City Civil & Sessions Court, at Ahmedabad on September 19, 1967. He was appointed as a Member of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal with effect from 5.2.1973. Appointed Judge of the City Civil and Sessions Court with effect from 23.4.1977. Appointed permanent Judge, Gujarat High Court from 28th December, 1977. Retired on 19.2.1992.
