Did B.Sc. (Hons.) with Chemistry in 1962. Did LL.B. from City Law College at Ahmedabad in 1964.
Enrolled as an Advocate on 20.1.1965.
Worked as Ordinary Grade Police Prosecutor.
Practised in all Judicial Courts in Panchmahal District in Civil and Criminal matters.
Joined Judiciary as Civil Judge (J.D.) & JMFC on 9.3.1970. Promoted as Civil Judge (S.D.) on 28.8.1979. Promoted as Assistant Judge on 19.1.1984. Promoted as Joint District Judge on 14.11.1988. Worked as Officer on Special Duty in High Court of Gujarat on administrative side from 8.5.1989 to 6.61993.
Also functioned as Judge, City Civil Court, Ahmedabad.
Worked as an independent District & Sessions Judge, at Bharuch for four years and at Mehsana from 5.5.1997 till elevation.
Elevated to the Bench of the Gujarat High Court as Additional Judge on 27.12.1999 and confirmed as Permanent Judge on 26.12.2001.
